Re-brand and other news.....

Lots been going on recently since someone drove into my dear van Jessy and wrote her off!

It's made me have a massive re-think and as 'Jessy' was my biggest marketing tool with her bright logo of 4 years, I have also realised how out of date it is now. It was perfect at the time, but I have changed and Fighting Fit Devon has changed in that time.

The accident has forced me to wake up and change things!

I am currently working hard on my Kickboxing, I can only train others better when I am better myself, but running was impeding my progress. When you run your hips get tight and years of marathons etc has ruined my Kickboxing flexibility. There was a time when I was known for being flexible....I'm known for the opposite now, which is not good.

So I am giving running a miss until after May next year!

I know, crazy eh, I may do the odd 2 miler or something but as of now, I am no longer 'run coaching' I am focussed on what the business was set up for - fighting fitness.

Training will consist of Kickboxing, Cardio/fitness boxing and kickboxing, HIIT training (Insanity) and Tabata sessions. This keeps everything as I first planned it to be, before I took on work, for the sake of taking on extra work to make money. Now I have to focus on what I originally planned and would rather have quality of training than quantity. This does come at a price, and an annual increase in October as usual, just taking me to the right level as others in the local area.
The Box Room has had a re-fresh and I want to utilise it more for padwork 1-1 sessions.

I won't be doing the Barnstaple Marathon, or the 101 mile run I was planning, at least for now, of course next year I may well start up running again, who knows, but for now I have to focus on what I do best.

Within the next week or so I should be receiving some initial designs for a new logo. It will be simple, just the one logo rather than the previous 2, and it will be very different. It has to reflect who I am now, what FFD is now, and how we intend to go into the future.

I have a new van as of this coming Saturday, who will of course be branded, but not in such a dramatic way, but still recognisable. It's been weird driving around in a plain white van for the last few weeks, everyone has been ignoring me!

So, that's the update for now, of course when I get logo designs in I want you to help me choose one....it's only to fair to share it with you, after all, you have supported me for the last 4 years, so thank you.
